Exchange experience in preserver heritage

Recently, high-level delegation of Cambodian News Agency (AKP) led by Mr. Ouk Kimseng, Vice President of AKP leader had visited and worked in Hoi An, Quang Nam.

In Hoi An, Mr Truong Van Bay, vice chairman of People's Committee of Hoi An City has a brief introduction about history, culture, traditions and socioeconomic for Cambodia to better understand human image and culture of Hoi An.

Since the 17th century, Hoi An area has developed strong trade and economic with many countries around the world via the sea. That tradition is still followed today. Until now, the income from the commercial sector remains most dominant in the structure of the economy Hoi An (60% of GDP).

Being recognized as World Heritage, Hoi An is actively preserving and promoting efficiency values towards building successful cultural city-eco-tourism in 2030 .. .

Hoi An ready to share experience and cooperate with friends, and foreign partners in the conservation, preservation and promotion of effective values relics ...After the tour and be introduced to Hoi An, Mr. Ouk Kimseng appreciated the efforts that Hoi An achieve in the tourist trade.

Although located in the region where often have storms and floods, but government and people of Hoi An is still to preserve, maintain and promote good physical values, the intangible heritage in the cultural world.

This is a definition that Cambodia should also be noted in upholding and promoting the heritage values that Cambodian had. In the future, AKP will attempt to propagate, promote hotels in Hoi An, Hoian tours  to the Cambodian people....
